EmPOWER the Period: Join the Fight for Menstrual Equity in Rural Nigeria

Thousands of girls in rural areas of Nigeria struggle each month with a lack of access to menstrual products. This means they are forced to use unsafe and unsanitary materials like rags or even leaves for their menstrual hygiene needs. The risk of infection is high and the impact on their education and health is severe.

We want to change this reality for these girls. Our campaign, EmPOWER the Period, seeks to raise funds to provide menstrual pads for 1000 girls in Maiduguri, Nigeria.

For many young women, this campaign is about more than just menstrual products. It's about dignity, empowerment, and health. 

We believe that every girl has the right to manage her period safely and with dignity, and that no girl should have to miss out on her education or health due to lack of access to menstrual products.
